I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to you all for your generous, kind, hardworking, and wonderful cooperation and support to the 20th SHINKI-KAI Open Charity Golf Tournament on July 24th, 2011 at Angus Glen Golf Course.
The Tournament was a tremendous success with total of 123 people including the dinner only and it has generated almost $30,000 from Silent auctions, Ruffles, Putting contest, Admission, and Cash donations, etc.
A part of proceeds will go to the orphaned students of TOHOKU disastrous area directly from SHINKI-KAI with the kind arrangements by KAHOKU SHINPO Newspaper Co. a majoy news media in TOHOKU region.
In selecting few eligible orphaned students in that area for us.
The success of this Tournament was simply because of the extraordinarily wide range of your understanding and support.
I would like to send my best regard to you all and hope to see you on next year’s SHINKI-KAI Golf Tournament again. With Respect and Appreciation.

Dear Members & Friends, Golfers & Sponsors,
SHINKI-KAI (Association of Japanese Canadian Businesses and Professionals) would like to announce that the 20th SHINKI-KAI CHARITY OPEN Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011.
The 9.0 magnitude earthquake and extremely destructive Tsunami on March 11, 2011 not only devasted the Tohoku area in Japan but also triggered a radiation leak at the Fukushima nuclear power plants.
These natural disasters have affected not only people in Japan, but all the Japanese living in Canada dueling for the loss of family members, relatives and friends.
On behalf of Shinki-kai, I would like to encourage you to join our Golf Tournament this year to support the Scholarship Fund-raising efforts as well as the Japan Tsunami Relief Fund.
A part of the proceeds from this Charity Golf Tournament will go to the most needed people in Japan through most safe and reliable organizations with the assistance of the Consul General of Japan in Toronto.
Thank you very much in advance for your time and we look forward to your support. All donation and gifts will be much appreciated and will be recognized accordingly.
